Details
A moth found the last flower after the garden had disappeared into blue.
Its wings held the moonlight for a moment. Around it, dark dahlias and pale fern tips made a little clearing in the night. The house beyond the glass was quiet; the garden was very much awake.
On velvet fabric, the ink-navy field gives the pale wings and plum flowers room to linger. Pair it with a dusty-rose throw, dark wood or a single ivory cushion. It is a softer way to bring October indoors, and a lovely reason to leave a lamp glowing beside your favorite chair.
